1. Google Ngram Viewer
Ngram Viewer may be more for fun rather than for practical uses, but this tool is excellent for keyword searches. Ngram allows you to search keywords from millions of books over half a millennium. This is a way to view what was trending back in the day or how popular certain products or items were. If you're curious as to what was trending back in Victorian times, this tool is the one for you.
2.Google Think Insights
This is a good resource for those students who are striving to be young entrepreneurs. Think Insights allows you to view case studies, learn tips, and research for yourself on how to grow your own business. Using this tool, you'll find ways to maximize your site's ad campaigns and analytic capabilities. One specific valuable collection is "How to Make Your Website Work Across Different Platforms".

4. Google Fonts
Did you know you could change the fonts of any open source websites? I bet not. Google offers roughly 629 font families with adjustable thickness, slant, width, and script. Might be worth experimenting.
5. Google Sky
You've heard of Google Earth... but have you heard of Google Sky? Google sky allows you to explore the star and space systems much like Google Earth allows you to view different parts of our world. This tool is in collaboration with NASA and also displays images captured by the Hubble telescope. Don't forget to also check out Google Mars and Google Moon!
These are just a few of some of my favorite newly found Google tools. Take advantage of the tools at your fingertips and check some of these applications out!
