How to Set Up HUWA-SEC on Windows 7

HUWA-SEC is Harding University's secure network for students and faculty/staff.  For computers which run Windows, there are a few network settings which need to be changed in order to use it.

HUWA-GUEST is designed for visitors of Harding's campus.  It is not a secure network and should never be used for important business (i.e. banking).  It is comparable to networks utilized by places like McDonalds.  HUWA-GUEST has significantly less bandwidth allocated than HUWA-SEC.

Both HUWA-SEC and HUWA-GUEST utilize Harding’s content filtering.  Using HUWA-GUEST will NOT get you more access than HUWA-SEC and will get you less bandwidth.

How to set up HUWA-SEC for Windows:

1.  Right click the internet access icon on your taskbar.

2.  Open the network and sharing center.

3.  Select Manage Wireless Networks from the left panel.
