Welcoming the iPad Pro
Welcoming the iPad Pro
Since the iPad Pro’s exciting
debut on November 11th, it has received raving reviews from Apple
fans all over the world. Apple’s Senior VP of World Marketing, Philip Schiller,
says that the new “iPad Pro is the most powerful iPad we’ve ever made, giving
users the ability to be even more creative and more productive.” Although not
yet considered a laptop replacement, the iPad Pro is a viable option for any
tablet-user. If you’re considering purchasing an Apple iPad Pro this holiday
season, or you’re simply just interested in learning more about Apple’s newest
installment of the series, then read ahead to get the latest scoop on the iPad
Pro.
The iPad Pro’s specs make it
the largest and fastest iPad yet. Some of its features include an epic 12.9
inch Retina display and 2732‑by‑2048 pixelated resolution. The device sits approximately 12
inches tall and 8.68 inches wide. In comparison to other models, such as the
iPad Air 2, the iPad Pro is almost 3 inches taller and 2 inches wider than the
other version. And although the iPad Pro has maintained its slim design, it is
twice as heavy as the iPad Air.

This model utilizes the A9X processor, which is 40% larger than the regular A9 processor found in the iPhone 6. Compared to other iPad models, the Pro has double the RAM and nearly twice the amount of processing speed as other A-type processors found in the line. Brooke Crothers from Forbes magazine calls this piece of technology a “graphics monster,” and it certainly gives off this impression throughout the Pro’s sleek graphical user interface. A multitasker’s dream, the iPad Pro has embraced user-friendly interface options such as Split View, Slide Over, and Picture in Picture that are aimed at enhancing productivity. These features allow you to have multiple apps open at the same time and in different sizes on your screen, creating a more immersive experience for the user.
Although the new iPad’s specs
alone are impressive, its highly creative capabilities including graphic,
visual, audio, photo-editing, illustration and design apps help set it apart
from other members of the iPad family. An 8-megapixel rear camera,
1.2-megapixel front camera, 1080p HD video recording, Multi-Touch and other
sensory technologies bolster its performance. In addition, Apple has
manufactured a simple yet elegant stylus, fondly known as Pencil, which is
capable of drawing or shading (or erasing) with precision.
Whether bringing a picture to
life, designing a 3D model, illustrating a report cover, editing a video clip,
or sketching out a mock-up of your latest project, the iPad Pro is the
developer’s tool to success.
