College life requires students to have a lot of important documents on their computers all the time. From essays that they spend a lot of time and effort on, to big projects that take many months to complete. students usually keep this files on their computer trusting they will be safe. Hopefully that will be true. But, in DormNet, we find out that often, these files are lost before they are submitted. From laptops that fell into the water to viruses that corrupt the Operating System making it impossible to recover files. Harding has a great firewall but unfortunately, some viruses and physical damage can happen to computers without a warning. This is the reason why you need to protect your files.

Every student at Harding owns a student account in this format "example@harding.edu" this account is linked with pipeline, canvas and google drive.
