Investing In Your Future

As many of you know, it is important to begin investing for retirement as soon as you are able. The problem is though, sometimes it isn’t easy to get started investing. There are so many acronyms, all these hidden fees, and often many firms require a relatively high minimum balance.

Robinhood is a smartphone app that has zero commission investing. Essentially it was designed for students who don’t have a lot of disposable income to get their feet wet in the world of ETFs REITs and stocks.

You will have to look elsewhere for research stocks you choose, however, because Robinhood is about as bare bones as it gets. That’s how it keeps things so low cost.

As far as actual advice on how to begin investing, I believe this article by NerdWallet provides a pretty good introduction.

https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/investing/how-to-invest-in-stocks/?trk_channel=web&trk_copy=How%20to%20Invest%20in%20Stocks&trk_element=hyperlink&trk_location=review__related-links__link&trk_pagetype=review

As a smartphone app, Robinhood is super convenient to use because smartphones are always in your pocket. And while Robinhood is not a way to save for retirement, it is a good way to familiarize yourself with the market in a hands on way with relatively low risk.
