For all the Apple fans out there, get ready for your wallets to be emptied. Apple executives have officially started putting together a timeline for their new augmented reality headset and glasses, known for now as "Apple Eyes." Apart from obviously being Siri-enabled and displaying key information, this pair of glasses will likely feature something currently unheard of in the space - gaze prediction. This means that the device will predict where the user will look next and automatically adjust the screen to accommodate this next glance.

The news is currently fresh, with only a couple of articles detailing the information in any way, and most of the insight is based on speculation, Apple's patents pending, and little tidbits of insider information. The Information reports that Apple's current timeline predicts a launch of their augmented reality headset in 2022, and the mixed reality glasses will release around 2023. This is certainly still a long way away, but the extra time is great - now I've got time to put back some cash.
