StudyBlue
As this semester gets into full swing, tests have probably started popping up. You may have some poor study habits or you may study hard but your methods may just not do the trick for your learning style. If you don't know how to improve your testing and are starting to get stressed as the tests pile up, you may want to try StudyBlue. It is an online program that allows you to make notecards and import any other files that can help you study. There is also a free app for many phones that allows you access to your materials. This is good for two reasons, it allows you to put everything you need to know for a certain test in one place that can't be lost and it allows you to access it whenever it is convenient. If you find yourself sitting somewhere waiting for a friend or for class to start you can pull out your phone and flip through a few notecards. Another handy feature of StudyBlue is its tracking feature. When you flip a card you report if you got the card right or wrong and it will remember that and once you finish going through the deck it tells you the percentage you got correct that round and its estimate on how much of the material you know from all the rounds combined.
You then have the choice to study all of the notecards again or just the ones you missed. Yet another cool feature is its sidebar. When you type in the first side of a notecard, suggestions collected from other similar notecards pop up in the sidebar. You may see a definition or description that you understand or like better and can click on it and it will immediately become your notecard. The best thing about StudyBlue is that it is free. There is a StudyBlue pro that costs money, but all the features I mentioned are part of the free portion.

Good luck on all your upcoming tests!
