A Welcome Greeting from DormNet
All across the United States on September 1st Americans celebrate Labor Day by taking the day off to appreciate the hardworking men and women throughout the country. However, at Harding, we labor and at DormNet we will also be laboring with the rest of the campus, working hard so that you, too can keep working.
Some people may not know that DormNet exists or if so, what they do. We at DormNet want you to know that our primary purpose is to help you, the student, with any network need to the best of our ability. The DormNet assistants are available and prepared to answer questions by phone or in person. Our goal is to ensure that no student walks away empty-handed. Instead, we strive to leave students in a better state than we found them.
The trained staff at DormNet are capable of removing viruses, malware, spyware, and ad-ware from your computer; troubleshoot software issues; solve network connection problems and much more. We understand that students live busy lives and don't always have time to troubleshoot problems on their own. Moreover, we know how fixing your own computer can be a tedious and sometimes involved process. DormNet exists to relive some of the pressure by providing these free services to students.
There is a saying that technology is great when it works. The staff at DormNet want you to get the most out of your Harding experience by making full use of all the technology on campus, including your own. If you are experiencing any type of computer problem, please call the help desk at 501-279-4545 and one of our DNA's will be happy to help you. We are open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Don't live with technology issues! Call us today!
