Password Palooza

Did you receive an email a while ago that told you that you had 14 days to reset your password?  If you’re like me it’s been a couple of days (okay, maybe longer) and the deed has yet to be done.
So what happens when that dreaded day comes and you’re locked out of your account?  You didn't know that if you failed to reset it within the time allotted you’d be unable to reset your password yourself.

Thankfully all you have to do is come up to the help desk with your Harding ID and we’ll reset it for you to your H-number.  The catch is that it’s only a temporary password and it expires within two weeks.

Feeling rebellious and choose to leave your account as your H-number for the remainder of the semester?  Think again.  If you plan on using your Harding account in any way (this includes your Harding email account) then you’re going to need to update your password every so often.  Failing to change your password will eventually result in your account being locked. You’ll then have to talk with the Alumni office in order to have your password reset.

I know it’s not fun to change passwords all the time, believe me.  But look at it this way- the sooner you get this taken care of the sooner you can get back to doing the things you love most: watching Netflix instead of studying for finals.  Because let’s be real- who wants to do that either?

Instructions for changing your pipeline password:
  1. Go to pipeline.harding.edu
  2. Click on forgot/expired password
  3. Enter your username and date of birth as specified
  4. Agree to the terms
  5. Congratulations!  You’ve changed your password.
