One Small Step for Apple, One Giant Leap for Technology
It seems that every time a technology company releases a new phone, the phone is bigger than the last one. And if you are like me, you are running out space in your pockets to hold that phone. Many times this leaves us at a fork, do we sacrifice our pockets and upgrade to a new phone, or do we save our pockets and keep our less awesome phones? What if I told you that there is a new phone out there that is capable of all the latest technology, small, and it doesn't break your bank?
Well there is!! Today, March 31st, Apple released their latest phone called iPhone SE. This new phone is a tremendous update to their old iPhone 5s.
Here are some of the sweet new upgrades to the iPhone SE that weren't present in the iPhone 5s.
- The A9 chip! Unlike the iPhone 5s, which had an A7 chip, iPhone SE has the A9 chip which increases speed and re-activity overall! Meaning your phone is less likely to freeze up.
- 12 MP camera! Thought the iPhone 5s camera took okay pictures? Well the iPhone SE has an even better picture taken quality! 12 MP compared to iPhone 5s which has 8MP.
- Along with that upgraded camera comes live photos and 4K recording technology, both unavailable on the iPhone 5s.
- Better battery! The iPhone SE comes with a new non-removable Li-Po 1642 mAh battery, which is a tremendous upgrade from the iPhone 5s' non-removable Li-Po 1560 mAh battery. What does this mean? Your battery is going to last you a lot longer than before!
- Colors! Unlike the iPhone 5s which only came in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold; the iPhone SE also comes in Apple's new phone color Rose Gold.
- Along with all of these awesome upgrades, there are some minor hardware upgrades which overall increase the life of the iPhone SE.
