Turn your dumb TV into a smart TV!
Are you a poor college student? Are you living off Ramen noodles and cheerios? Are you missing all of your shows on Netflix because your TV isn't smart? Well, this blog post might be able to help you with one of those things. Hint: it isn't the Ramen. In this post, I'll tell you about an affordable way to get Netflix, YouTube, and other entertainment sources onto your "dumb" TV!
Chromecast is a USB powered little device that plugs right in to your TV's spare HDMI port. It does not come with a remote control because your smart phone and/or laptop can be the controller! Just connect the Chromecast and your laptop/phone to the same network and they should recognize each other. From there, you will be able to stream Netflix, watch YouTube, and do other internet things all on the screen of your TV!
