Should You Switch to the Switch or Wait?

The Switch has now been out for a little over 3 weeks now and has become a huge success! Nintendo has come out with a strong rebound after the Wii U failed to succeed as well as the Wii did. Currently, they are sold out pretty much everywhere. You can get them online for inflated prices, but if you wait patiently, you might be able to find one. Recently, I got my hands on one and have been playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

                              

Currently, this is one of four released games for the Switch. This game is absolutely beautiful. Most people have been hesitant to buy the Switch seeing as this is really the only game currently out that is worth buying. If you are one of those people, I highly recommend getting it anyways. While yes we don't have much out now, nor will we for a while, but Breath of the Wild's vast variety of game-play will leave people hungry for more to come. The only bad thing about Breath of the Wild that I have found so far is there is a bit of lag and delay when playing attached to the dock. Most people have outraged over this, but personally, I don't see it as a big problem. Yes there are a few moments of delays, but it hasn't affected my game-play too much that it bothers me. We will have to wait and see how the console matches up to the other games that are projected in the future for the console to determine if it will be a real factor for people to consider.

Many people are going to wait for titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (April 28, 2017), Arms (Spring 2017), Splatoon 2 (Summer 2017), NBA 2K18 (September 2017), The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (Fall 2017), FIFA 18 (2017), and Super Mario Odyssey (Christmas 2017). 

                        

Overall, I have had an amazing experience with the Switch with very few downsides. Many people will argue that we should wait and see what other games Nintendo has in store for us. Breath of the Wild is definitely worth it in my opinion based on the vast openness of the game. There is so much to explore in it that it will fill all the time necessary to wait on what will be released next.
