Foldable Smart phones
For the past couple of years, Samsung pursued the development of foldable technology. In 2012 there were rumors, but they released a concept video for the technology in 2014 confirming that Samsung was seriously interested in developing the technology.
Today, November 7, 2018 at the annual developer conference in San Fransiscothey released information about their new flagship prototype unnamed but currently dubbed Galaxy X. This phone uses what Samsung is calling Infinity Flex Display. This phone is supposed to be the first in a series of foldable handsets, tablets and even laptops.
Supposedly, the screen works with a S pen digital stylus, and comparable to a windows PC, able to run three applications at once. According to Hart, there are rumors the device will have Snapdragon 845 processor, 4-6GB RAM, and 256GB storage. Additionally, Hart expects there will be a 12 mega pixel camera including dual aperture capabilities.
