What's New About the Apple Watch Series 4?

The Apple Watch Series 4 came out on September 21, 2018. There are many new features of the Apple Watch Series 4, and I am going to tell you about them.

1. Size and Design

The older series come in 38 millimeters or 42 millimeters. But the Apple Watch Series 4 comes in 40 millimeters or 44 millimeters. The Apple Watch Series 4 also has an interesting design. It has a larger display and a thinner body compared to the older series.

2. Back Case

The previous models had a metal case to detect heart rate. However, the new Apple Watch has a ceramic back case for the new ECG sensor.

3. Digital Crown

The Digital Crown is smaller and easier to use than the older watches. You can also take your ECG by holding it.

4. ECG Sensor

This is a new feature on the Apple Watch Series 4. You can get an ECG of your heart, which shows the electrical activity of your heart. You can to go to the ECG app and hold your finger on the Digital Crown. It is a simple way to see if your heart is healthy.

5. Speaker

The Apple Watch Series 4 has a new speaker, so you can hear things better. Also, the speakers are separated farther apart to improve calling, dictation, and Siri.

6. Processor

The Apple Watch Series 3 has a Dual-core S3 processor, while the new Apple Watch has a 64-bit Dual-core S4 processor. This means the Apple Watch Series 4 is two times faster than the Series 3. Also, the Apple Watch Series 4 has a longer battery life.

7. Cost

The Apple Watch Series 4 comes in two styles. You can either get GPS or GPS and Cellular. For the GPS only, it costs $399.00 for the 40 millimeters version and $429.00 for the 44 millimeters version. For the GPS and Cellular, it costs $499.00 for the 40 millimeters size and $529.00 for the 44 millimeters size(You also have to pay a monthly fee for the data through your carrier).
