Kansas City Champs!
This past weekend marked the Superbowl LIV (that's 54 for the people who had to look it up like me), and the Kansas City Chiefs have come out victorious in their game with the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams put forth a strong showing, and able to stay neck in neck for a large part of the game. The 49ers struck first with a field goal, but the Chiefs were able to strike back with 31 seconds left in the first quarter with a touchdown. The second quarter started out with the 49ers throwing a interception, which led to the Chiefs scoring a field goal, bringing their lead 10-3. Before the quarter was out, though, the 49ers were able to tie it up with a touchdown of their own, bringing the score to an even 10-10 to close the first half. After a (rather controversial) halftime show, the 49ers opened up the second half strong, being able to take a field goal, and then later a touchdown, bringing the score to 20-10, taking the lead at the end of the third quarter. However, as the Chiefs have done so many times in the past, they were able to pull it back in the fourth quarter, running away with the game with a three touchdown streak, and stopping the 49ers from scoring a single time in the last quarter, bringing the final score to 31-20. Go Chiefs!!!
