Top new features on iOS 15!
In June 2021, Apple announced the most recent version of its iOS operating system, iOS 15, which was delivered on September 20th. iOS 15 is one of those updates that appear to be minor on a superficial level. Yet, after you use it, you begin to see how those “little” changes build up, and finally have a major effect. This blog will discuss some of the most significant changes that this update brought to the table.
Focus modes:
Nowadays, people use their phones for almost every activity
in their daily routine. iOS 15 assists users with centering and diminishing
interruption. The focus app will let you create profiles to allow only the
notifications you want to receive and the apps you want to use. For example,
you can create a profile called “Workout,” and you will only get notifications
from the training apps you have chosen.
Text recognition on photos:
Live Text allows you to recognize text on objects directly
form the camera app. For instance, you could capture a phone number from a
business card and directly make a call or add it to your contacts. It is,
therefore, the alternative to Google Lens that Apple has integrated into iOS
itself.
Redesigned apps:
Safari has a new look. Now, the tab bar floats at the bottom
of the screen. Tabs can be saved in a Tab group and can be accessed across all
Apple devices. The data in the Weather app is more detailed, and the layouts
change depending on weather conditions.
